1. Dispatch & Cut-Off Times
- Orders placed by 2 pm (Mon–Friday) are usually dispatched same day via next‑working‑day courier (Mondays can be very busy due to the weekend orders, so it is possible for some orders to roll over to Tuesday).
- Friday orders (post‑2 pm) are dispatched on Monday, arriving Tuesday, excluding bank holidays.
- Business hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am–5.30pm.
- We continue to pack orders, even after 2pm before the courier arrives so you may be surprised to get your order earlier than expected.
2. Delivery Services & Options
- Standard service is next‑working‑day delivery across mainland UK.
- Smaller orders, especially orders for Thursday after 2pm & Friday, may be sent by Royal Mail so they may arrive on Saturday, we do try our best to deliver asap.

- All orders incur a £5.95 shipping charge at checkout.

4. Surcharges & Remote Areas
- Extra charges and expected transit delays apply to addresses outside mainland UK, such as the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isles of Wight/Man, Scilly Isles.
- Specific postcode ranges apply (e.g., IV, KW, PA20–PA78, PH4–PH50, HS, ZE, IM, BT, the website should block any excess delivery areas. - E&OE); please call or email for precise quotes.
- Delivery to offshore UK may take 3–5 working days and will incur additional fees.
- We do not deliver to Norther Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
5. Tracking & Communications
- You’ll receive dispatch confirmation and a tracking reference via email. Order statuses may be checked online via the provided tracking number.
- Signature is required upon delivery, ensure someone is present to accept the delivery.
- Delivery Instructions, your instructions mean you take responsibility for the safety of goods left at your property.
- If delivery is missed, the courier will make a redelivery attempt (usually the following day) or hold the parcel for collection or to arrange redelivery, please contact Customer Services.
6. Risk & Ownership
- Risk transfers to the buyer once delivery is made or attempted if the buyer isn’t available.
- Title (ownership) does not pass until full payment, including VAT and carriage is received.
- Including, left by your instructions, the transfer of ownership is to the customer.
7. Delays & Liability
- Delivery times are estimates; Storage & Removal Boxes is not liable for delays due to causes beyond its control such as weather, courier issues, vehicle breakdowns/ accidents, excess traffic problems or strikes.
8. Returns & Cancellations
- Stock items can be cancelled or returned within 14 days from delivery for a full refund of the goods value, a credit or exchange. Returns must be authorised by Customer Service.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless items are faulty or sent incorrectly.
- Non‑stock items (e.g., bespoke boxes are manufactured) cannot be returned once the order is confirmed, unless their manufacture can be stopped.
- Returned goods must be unopened, unused, re‑saleable and securely packaged, otherwise, credit may be withheld for re‑packaging or damage.
- Faulty or damaged items should be reported within 3 days of delivery and will be collected and replaced or refunded at no extra cost.
9. Claims & Inspection
- Notify any missing or damaged items within 3 working days, where possible signing the delivery paperwork to specify “Goods damaged” or “Goods received short” will expedite any issues.
- Claims for hidden defects must be made within 14 days of discovery, but no later than 30 days after delivery.
- Storage & Removal Boxes, reserves the right to inspect any returned items and decide on repair, replacement or refund.
